Zvishavane lies in the south of Midlands Province on the road between Bulawayo and Masvingo, with Gweru to the north. Sharon Valley is on the edge of town.

Local economy and employers

Mining is the largest employer in and around Zvishavane, supported by the businesses, transport and services that a mining town needs. Employees of large employers are a significant share of stand buyers.

Employers can buy stands in blocks for staff housing, and the high density stands and flats sites are planned with employee schemes in mind.

Education

The town has primary and secondary schools and further-education facilities. Sharon Valley adds four primary schools, two secondary schools and six crèches within the development.
